Spider prodigies

Last week I noticed two rather large, reddish spiders living on the back porch. My initial reaction was to destroy them as fast as I could. As I reached for my weapon of choice (the broom), Charlotte's Web flashed into my mind. In that moment of childhood reminiscing (and weakness), I opted to spare these two spiders from their untimely deaths.
This morning I woke up and saw two huge spiderwebs. They were beautiful. These two little guys are expert weavers. My very own Charlotte's Web prodigies. I had made the right choice in allowing them to live.

But..

Let them be warned...if I ever wake up to find "Some Pig" written on either of their webs.... I will be most offended. And they will die.
That's all I'm saying.

I really liked this. :) I, however, am a preemptive killer, not a reactive one.

I have no mercy when it comes to spiders, Charlotte or no Charlotte. They'd already be smears.
