Spider prodigies
Last week I noticed two rather large, reddish spiders living on the back porch. My initial reaction was to destroy them as fast as I could. As I reached for my weapon of choice (the broom), Charlotte's Web flashed into my mind. In that moment of childhood reminiscing (and weakness), I opted to spare these two spiders from their untimely deaths.This morning I woke up and saw two huge spiderwebs. They were beautiful. These two little guys are expert weavers. My very own Charlotte's Web prodigies. I had made the right choice in allowing them to live.
But..
Let them be warned...if I ever wake up to find "Some Pig" written on either of their webs.... I will be most offended. And they will die.
That's all I'm saying.

OMG! That's hilarious! I've enjoyed reading your blog... you've got quite the sense of humor. I've found myself literally laughing out loud at some of your posts.
I have no mercy when it comes to spiders, Charlotte or no Charlotte. They'd already be smears.
